Nearly 365 days a year, our pies are baked in Lincoln and sold throughout northeastern and central Kansas.

A History Baked in Tradition

What began 30 years ago as two long-time friends baking for their community, quickly gave rise to one of the eight wonders of the state of Kansas. The demand for Marilyn Hanshaw and Connie Allen’s pies quickly outpaced the capacity of their small home kitchens, and the two bakers opened a full-time facility carrying on the tradition of their quality recipes. Thus, a new chapter rolled out with the the namesake of MarCon Pies, a combination of Marilyn and Connie’s first name. To this day, fruit fillings are mixed by hand and nimble fingers expertly crimp each pie edge for a tender, flaky crust.
